On the estate, a large reservoir provides a habitat for ducks and other bird species, making it a site of great interest for birdwatchers. Birdwatching is at the heart of the Apariça experience, as the area offers the chance to observe unique birds, many of which are protected species. The estate features several observation spots set up for visitors.
